Renee brings more than 10 years of event marketing and planning experience to Events by Renee, a full service event planning company. Prior to founding Events by Renee, Renee worked as an event manager for Main Line Today where she planned affairs ranging from cocktail parties to fashion shows and most notably its Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs Party for 2,000 attendees.
Renee has built a reputation among her clients, colleagues, and partner vendors as being savvy, creative, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Her easy-going, even calming, but conscientious demeanor has enabled her to cultivate strong working relationships with the best venues and vendors in the area. Widely respected in the industry, Renee was chosen by her peers as 95.7 BEN FM “Queen of the Scene” in 2011.
Corporate meeting planning is also a strength Renee honed early in her career as a project manager for a medical education company where she organized and produced national medical education meetings at venues across the country. Renee earned the honor of seamlessly managing the National Constitution Center’s Glitter City Gala New Year’s Eve Party three years running. She has also assisted in planning and directing annual fundraising events for the Home of the Sparrow’s “Jazz on the Main Line” and “Black Tie Bowling” as well as for The Shipley School’s “Shipley Shops” fundraiser. Renee and her fast-thinking, energetic team have coordinated weddings in the Philadelphia area since 2007 and are known for capturing each couple’s vision and bringing it alive with creativity and a personal touch.
Renee is involved in many networking organizations and is a founding member of Femfessionals, a Philadelphia based women’s networking group. In Renee’s free time she volunteers with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Philadelphia chapter as well as Ronald McDonald House, Philadelphia and recently raised $20,000 in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Woman of the year campaign. She is also the Fabulous Shoe Chapter Leader for Main Line Philadelphia.
Renee earned her bachelor’s degree in communications, with a minor in marketing, from Eastern University, St. Davids.
